Charged with the responsibility to direct all financial activities and strategies that support the financial safety and soundness of the credit union. Responsibility includes financial, tax, and regulatory reporting for the Credit Union, development of policies, procedures and infrastructure in support of the Credit Union’s Strategic Plan, balance sheet management, forecasting, long range financial planning, investment portfolio and investment strategies and Asset-Liability & Liquidity Management (ALM).


Oversees the credit union’s treasury function, including the organization’s investment portfolio, accounting, financial reporting and analysis, profitability/performance measurement, new charters, document imaging and storage systems, product pricing, deposits and ACH services.

Works collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain efficient, professional procedures to achieve timely, accurate financial reporting on behalf of the Credit Union, in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles. Plays a critical role in the development and implementation of the strategic goals of the credit union.  


  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master's Degree preferred. CPA or CFA certification is required.
  • EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of senior level management experience in finance, including strategic planning and strategic thinking.
  • LEADERSHIP: Must possess strong leadership and management skills that facilitate collaboration in a team environment.
  • INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of investments, asset and liability management, financial planning, treasury operations, accounting and auditing.
  • COMMUNICATION: Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as, strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • SOFTWARE: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Internet use required to produce reports and presentations.
