Job Description Summary:

AmeriCU has a great opportunity available for the role of Financial Center Manager at our Auburn Office!

Some Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Builds and maintains a service, sales and member relationship-building culture.
  • Performs all duties of a Loan Officer. Serves as a product, service and operations knowledge resource.
  • Actively trains and coaches staff to look for opportunities to refer and sell products and services, and to build and expand member relationships. Monitors the required number of sales and/or referrals for products and services staff achieves. Assists and supervises the training of all personnel.
  • Performs servicing and account maintenance activities such as transactions, account opening, loan applications, loan processing, addressing member inquiries, resolving issues, etc.
  • Holds regularly scheduled sales meetings with Financial Center personnel. Actively manages staff to meet or exceed Financial Center goals as well as promote service, sales, and member relationship expanding behavior.
  • Creates an environment where employees feel valued. Provides the tools and resources so employees can be successful in their jobs and addresses individual employee needs to build their commitment to AmeriCU.
  • Represents the credit union in community organizations and activities to enhance the credit union image and promote and develop business.
  • Maintains full knowledge of the FC profitability. Strives to increase profitability by managing loan and deposit production assigned annually.
  • Prepares FC Operating budget. Ensures that FC stays within budget; able to explain variances when required.
  • As, required, Performs servicing and account maintenance activities such as transactions, account opening, loan applications, loan processing, addressing member inquires, resolving issues, etc.
  • Records encounters with current and prospective members, to assist CU in tracking and targeting future sales efforts via our CRM system
  • As required, Processes Home Equity loan applications and performs closings. FC Manager is required to know the HE Process and be a resource to their staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Supervisory or group leader experience is required with the ability to lead, motivate and coach high performance sales and service staff to meet Financial Center and strategic goals.
  • Experience in sales, services, operations and lending. If acting as a Mortgage Loan Originator, (MLO), will be required to be registered in the National Mortgage Licensing Registry. (NMLR)
  • Proficient in Windows based programs on a personal computer such as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) in order to prepare reports for decision making and management information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable in dealing with all layers of the organization as well as communication on a one-to-one basis.
  • Ability to model, collaborate, build and foster high performance teamwork with other Financial Center managers and within Financial Center staff.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule. Ability to work on Saturdays
