About the Role:

As the Member Financial Advisor you will effectively source prospective clients, capitalize on referrals, assess customer needs through collaboration, utilize the full resources of AmeriCU Capital Management and AmeriCU Credit Union, and deliver highly customized solutions to meet client needs. Additionally, you will recommend investment products and services that are suitable for members, prospects and clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of financial planning  and insurance experience including product knowledge and sales skills, the ability to relate professionally to clients and colleagues
  • Must possess a history of high achievement demonstrated by a proven record of rapid advancement in exceeding goals and outperforming peers and is motivated to deliver the best client experience.
  • Experience advising to affluent individuals ($250k - $1mm).
  • FINRA Series 7, 66, or (63 and 65) securities licenses required.
  • Must maintain required licenses by successfully completing continuing education requirements.
  • Effective customer service and problem resolution skills and the ability to maintain a high level of quality of member service and sales standards. 
  • Strong sales, exceptional communication, decision-making and analytical skills.  
  • Work schedule must accommodate member’s schedules, including Saturdays and by appointment as necessary.
