Job Description Summary:

Some Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Greet members immediately in a professional and enthusiastic manner, identify needs and handle appropriately
  • Looks for opportunities to refer AmeriCU products and services, and to build and expand member relationships. May be expected to assist FC in meeting its’ goals to support the Balanced Scorecard KPI’s.
  • Operates the Remote Teller Stations (RTS) or transaction stations to dispense a variety of services, including but not limited to share deposits/withdrawals, loan payments, inquiries, check cashing, credit card advances and payments, purchase of money orders and travelers checks, official checks, savings bonds and Share Branching transactions.
  • Ensure that all transactions are performed correctly with care and competent service to each member.
  • Provides membership with information concerning specific accounts that is factual and up-to-date. Refers all inquiries he/she cannot properly address to the appropriate personnel for research and resolution.
  • Follows dual control procedures in order to maintain proper security and surveillance over work station and cash drawer. Able to execute proper security procedures during robberies, forgeries or other suspicious or dangerous situations.
  • May be responsible for completing a CTR/SAR
  • May assist the Supervisor, MSS II or Security MSS II with security tests and/or other duties as required. 


  • High school education or equivalent and good math and interpersonal skills. Completion of several higher education courses recommended.
  • Experience in sales and services. Cash handling experience is helpful. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven record of attendance and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule. Able to work Saturdays.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Prior keyboard/computer experience.
  • Bilingual Preferred
